The AT-LP70X Fully Automatic Belt-Drive Turntable is the perfect turntable for those beginning their audiophile journey. Designed to offer a quality sound experience for those who love listening to records, from flipping through albums at the record store to placing a record on the turntable, cueing the tonearm, and sitting back with the album art in hand to enjoy music as the artist intended.
Combining the experience of warm, analogue audio with user-friendly features, this turntable plays both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records. It has a built-in switchable phono preamp that allows the turntable to connect to a home stereo, powered speakers, or another component, with or without a dedicated phono input, with the AT-LP70XBT featuring Bluetooth wireless connectivity.
Back in 1958, at the age of only 24, Alex Encel set about building locally made stereo systems for Australians. Over half a century has passed since Alex built his first pair of speakers by hand here in Melbourne, and now that tradition continues with a colourful range of bookshelf speakers: Gelati.
Encel Gelati are made in a number of uniquely flavoured lacquer and woodgrain cabinets like Birch Black, Vanilla, Caramel Walnut, and Pistachio.
They’re adaptable to the surroundings of your listening space, with 12 delicious magnetic grilles on offer in shades like Eucalyptus Green, Ocean Blue, Lemon Yellow and Coffee Brown. Swapping them out takes seconds, allowing you to choose and change your speakers' appearance. Gelati don't come with grilles as standard, allowing you to personalise their look.
Gelati were tuned based on extensive listening tests here in Melbourne by the Encel team, and we’re thrilled with an overall balance that makes them musically dextrous across a number of genres. They confidently serve up sweet highs, decadent mids, and a low end dripping with punch and authority. Gelati are packaged with a minimum of disposable materials and manuals.
A defining trait of the Encel brand is artistic collaboration, with Melbourne-based illustrator Alice Oehr designing the Gelati’s cardboard packaging. And of course, Gelati are manufactured with sturdy, durable materials like MDF and Kevlar, meaning their gift of great music will continue for years down the line.
Alex founded the Encel brand with the aspiration of making beautiful music systems affordable. His evangelical yet egalitarian approach to audio endures in the brand today.

The A8 Integrated Amplifier is the perfect fusion of power, size, efficiency, and value tailored for music enthusiasts.
Built around an in-house manufactured, high-current, Rotel-crafted toroidal power transformer, the A8 delivers a commanding 40 watts per channel of Class A/B power into 4 ohms. The high-efficiency output drive transistors ensure deep bass energy is controlled with ultimate precision while comfortably maintaining composure at all listening levels.
The A8 features three line-level RCA inputs connecting your favourite analogue sources, complemented by a moving magnet-compatible phono stage to spin classic vinyl albums. For private listening, a front panel 1/8” headphone jack is also included.
The included IR remote ensures precise and seamless operation of the volume level and selection of the desired source input, all from your favourite listening position. The remote also conveniently includes CD transport control functions supporting Rotel CD players.
Personal selection of LED volume indicator colour allows the A8 to be tailored to both mood and environment. Choose from red, green, blue, or purple LED colours fitting comfortably into any environment.
