The SA40 shines as a versatile control centre for your audio system with an extensive selection of analog and digital connection options, including XLR inputs for high-quality, lossless signal transmission.

For vinyl enthusiasts, the SA40 is equipped with a phono input that supports both moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges to bring out the full sound of your record collection.

In addition, the SA40 offers modern connectivity options such as an integrated Bluetooth input (Bluetooth 5.0) for easy streaming from your smartphone or tablet as well as HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel), which enables first-class audio transmission directly from your smart TV.

2 x 300W or 1 X 600W

The pre-out allows the SA40 to be used as a pure preamp or bridged in combination with our PA40 to provide an impressive 600 watts per speaker in mono mode. Thanks to the Amp-In input, the SA40 can also be used purely as a power amplifier.

Optional: Connect two pairs of speakers

The SA40 enriches your audio system with the ability to connect two pairs of speakers, offering outstanding flexibility in the configuration of your system. This versatility allows you to operate different speaker sets to create the optimum sound experience depending on your preference and room acoustics. Amp In: loop in DSP or use as a pure power amplifier

The SA40 is also characterised by its innovative "Amp In" input, which offers exceptional flexibility in the design of your audio setup. This function allows you to loop in an external Digital Signal Processor (DSP) for even more individual sound customisation or alternatively use the SA40 as a pure power amplifier in your system. 

This option opens up new possibilities for audiophiles who want to refine their soundscape with precise, customised sound settings or exploit the robust performance of the SA40 in combination with other preamplifiers or specialised audio sources.

Tailored sound control

The SA40 integrated amplifier offers a sophisticated tone control that allows precise adjustment of the audio signal to the specific conditions of your listening room and your personal preferences.

Fine-tuning of the sound quality is possible with a precise 1 dB increment, giving you the option to individually increase or decrease the bass and treble frequencies by up to 10 dB. In addition, the balance control enables accurate adjustment of the sound image between the left and right speakers, with an adjustment range of 10 steps to the left or right to ensure optimum stereo reproduction.
