Lovers of the highest precision in multi-channel music and film sound reproduction, who also consider the greatest possible power and level stability to be of elementary importance, will inevitably end up with a pre/power combination instead of an AV amplifier or AV receiver.

Thanks to an output of 230 watts at 4 ohms in seven-channel operation, a performance is provided that is otherwise only found in competing models that are three to four times more expensive.

Even at 8 ohms, 150 watts/channel are still available when all seven channels are driven.

This extreme level of performance could only be achieved with exceptionally high-quality assemblies and a design that has been thought through down to the last detail. This includes two huge, shielded toroidal transformers, which together realize an unbelievable 2,640 watts of input power. In this way, the best possible current delivery capability is always guaranteed, even with long-term use at high levels with power-hungry loudspeakers.

However, it can happen, especially with orchestral performances or when playing action blockbusters, for example, that dynamic peaks also occur with a high basic level: the sudden explosion of the tanker truck in the action film or the blatant dynamic jump during the massive use of the entire orchestra in a classical concert.

The AVXP 7-230 is also well equipped for this, because electrolytic capacitors with an overwhelming total capacity of 280,000 microfarads are available as short-term power storage. If a power surge occurs, they release all of their energy immediately, only to be recharged at lightning speed when the action changes back to quieter areas.

With the multi-channel preamplifier IOTAVX AVX17, which is available at a sensational price, IOTAVX also has the right play partner straight from the house of IOTAVX. A top-of-the-line, honest surround processor, with no network bells and whistles, but with a professional attitude to all signal processing. Up to 9.1.4 or up to 7.1.6 channels are possible - here you can also use two AVXP 7-230 to put together a superlative multi-channel system.
