These cables have been crafted to minimise outside interference that can degrade streaming audio and video quality. External high-frequency noise can sneak into signal grounds, degrading both digital and analog circuits.

Digital transmissions are resilient and this can still hinder performance. To combat this, each pair of the four oxygen-free conductors is individually encased in a shield, in addition to an overall shield outside the outer layer which gives additional protections against unwanted frequencies.
