The VMN50SH is equipped with a Shibata stylus construction, giving you a stunning pickup of ultra-high frequencies with less groove stress and distortion.  Measuring  2.7 x 0.26 mm this is the Shibata Replacement Stylus for the VM750SH cartridge. 

Even the finest diamond stylus becomes worn after an extended period of play. The styli in Audio Technica's VM cartridges are no different. But it is easy to replace the stylus and continue to use your cartridge.

The renewed VM cartridges have 7 styli and 3 types of bodies to choose from. Not only is it not necessary to buy an entirely new cartridge, but you can also enjoy the experience of upgrading your stylus or trying a new cartridge/stylus combination.
