Encel S Turntable
A modern classic with a twist
The turntable has been at the heart of home audio since the first Encel Hi-Fi store opened in Richmond in 1958. The turntable has evolved through the years from the basic mechanical contraptions of early gramophones to today’s finely tuned instruments of precision analogue audio. Now, in an era dominated by digital, the Encel S brings back the warmth, depth, and tactile joy of vinyl. Designed for Vinyl Devotion The Encel S is built for anyone who loves the magic of music in its classic analogue form. Its 8.6" S-shaped aluminium tonearm tracks records with precision and is equipped with a detachable headshell. This makes swapping and upgrading cartridges a breeze, so you can experiment with different sounds and make upgrades with a quick twist of the collar. In the box you’ll find an Ortofon 2M Red moving magnet cartridge to get you started—pre-fitted to a headshell and factory-aligned. From 33 to 45 RPM, speed changes are handled electronically with a simple rocker switch, letting you move effortlessly between your favourite albums and EPs. A heavy steel platter and TPE motor suspension ensure absolute stability, while magnetic anti-skating and a precision drive belt keep your LPs playing smoothly. Thoughtful Design, Built by Hand Every Encel S is built by hand, using quality materials chosen to last a lifetime. It includes a built-in switchable phono preamp for easy integration into any audio system—meaning a separate phono preamp isn’t needed but can be used if you so choose. A high-quality phono cable with gold-plated RCA connectors and a turntable dust cover are included as standard, rounding out a package designed for serious listening and everyday ease.
Encel Gelati Bookshelf Speakers
...Speakers For a New Generation
Back in 1958, at the age of only 24, Alex Encel set about building locally made stereo systems for Australians. Over half a century has passed since Alex built his first pair of speakers by hand here in Melbourne, and now that tradition continues with a colourful range of bookshelf speakers: Gelati.
Your Music, Your Flavour
Encel Gelati are made in a number of uniquely flavoured lacquer and woodgrain cabinets like Birch Black, Vanilla, Caramel Walnut, and Pistachio.
They’re adaptable to the surrounds of your listening space, with 12 delicious magnetic grilles on offer in shades like Eucalyptus Green, Ocean Blue, Lemon Yellow, and Coffee Brown. Swapping them out takes seconds, allowing you to choose and change your speakers' appearance. Gelati don't come with grilles as standard, allowing you to personalise their look.
Designed in Melbourne
Gelati were tuned based on extensive listening tests here in Melbourne by the Encel team, and we’re thrilled with an overall balance that makes them musically dextrous across a number of genres. They confidently serve up sweet highs, decadent mids, and a low end dripping with punch and authority. Gelati are packaged with a minimum of disposable materials and manuals.
Meet the Encel Brains Amplifier
Unlocking spectacular sound with Encel Brains
Without a conductor, an orchestra is a room of unguided elements, struggling to find cohesion with one another. All of them are individually brilliant, but without a guide to give them direction, to make the collective into one breathtaking whole.
Total control of your sound
Simple bass and treble controls allow you to shape your sound as you like, enriching music, films, and games with low-end thunder or adding a touch of extra sparkle and clarity. Tone controls give the benefit of allowing you to adapt your sound to your specific listening conditions. Smaller speakers in a large room? Give the bass dial a generous spin. Music sounding a little flat in a smaller carpeted space? Get that treble singing. Brains hands you full control of your sound.
Input selection and volume can be adjusted from afar with the remote control, which is bundled free of charge at launch.
