The current Rega Planar 1 is the most successful turntable that Rega has ever made....and they've been making turntables since 1973 in the UK.They have won more awards than any other turntable manufacturer in history for their accuracy in reproducing music.

The Planar 1's thermoset, gloss laminate finish in black or white add a definitive touch of class. The 24v, low noise, synchronous motor and synthetic polymer platter (increasing the flywheel effect) both decrease resonance and reduce noise interference, improving the sonic qualities of the table.

Each tonearm is meticulously hand assembled using custom Rega made tools and torque settings to guarantee optimum performance. This level of care ensures perfect tracking and maximises the amount of information the cartridge can extract from the record surface. Rega Carbon cartridge with its carbon cantilever goes deep into the record groove to extract all those musical nuances whilst minimising record wear.

The atmospheric sound of a Rega playing vinyl brings the music to life.

This Rega has body in its sound and a real analogue warmth.

Built-in Amplifier and Receiver Components

The built-in amplifier is constructed with 2 parts of the TAS5754 Class-D amplifier chipset from Texas Instrument. This component combines high input sample rate support and high output PWM carrier frequency. Combining these two components achieves a low background noise and low distortion.

Fully Loaded Inputs and Subwoofer Output

The A100 is equipped with both digital and analogue inputs. Connect your phone, laptop, computer and other devices with the following inputs. AUX, RCA, USB, Optical and Bluetooth. Both USB and optical inputs support up to 192KHz input sample. The Bluetooth input is support for aptX. Connect a subwoofer quickly and easily with available subwoofer out.
