In addition to AM/FM radio entertainment, you can hook up a CD player and play albums, or a network audio player and enjoy music streaming services. Bluetooth® Wireless Technology lets you easily stream songs from smartphones and tablets.
Direct Energy Design
Every inch of the chassis has been devised to create quality sound, such as shorter transmission path, clean grounding, and rigid structure with improved damping. The discrete amplifier inherits the Direct Energy Design of Pioneer’s high-end AV receivers for faithful reproduction of the audio content.
Bluetooth® Wireless Technology
With the built-in Bluetooth Wireless Technology (ver. 4.2), you can easily stream songs from compatible devices such as smartphones and tablets. The SX-10AE features A2DP and AVRCP profiles, with support for SBC and AAC codecs.
AM/FM Tuner with Presets
The automatic tuning feature lets you easily find stations in your area. Manual tuning is also available. You can save up to 40 stations on the receiver’s preset for quick access.
The SX-10AE will automatically turn off after being left uncontrolled for a certain time set by the user.

The Topaz range is Cambridge Audio's entry-level range. However, with their high standards the Topaz range is far from entry-level.The SR 20 for it's price is a high powered gem that delivers in spades in not only audio quality but features and convenience. This receiver delivers 100 watts per channel, quality watts powerful enough to give good drive capability to almost all loudspeakers to give you great live sounding dynamics.
The SR 20 also covers most bases when it comes to connecting all your favourite sources.Firstly being a receiver,it has an inbuilt AM/FM tuner, and then it accommodates your turntable for the vinyl experience with an inbuilt phono preamplifier.....something not offered over the last 20 years with amplifiers. And then there is the digital input stage incorporating an onboard digital to analogue converter which allows you to connect your TV to your hifi system via digital optical......the only way late model TVs output their audio signal. Then there are the extra digital inputs to allow digital streaming, etc. and an extra 2 analogue inputs for other components. There is also a direct MP3 input conveniently located on the front panel.
Thanks to it’s onboard Wolfson DAC (Digital to analogue converter) the SR20 provides three digital audio inputs, allowing the connection of digital sources such as streamers, TVs or laptops and it will then play them all with incredible detail and depth.
Continuing the comprehensive specification and attention to detail, the SR20 features a built-in MM Phono stage, bringing your vinyl to life! Turntables fitted with phono cartridges of either the Moving Magnet (MM) or high output Moving Coil (MC) type (between 2-6mV output and 30-50k load impedance) can be used.
We strive for audio perfection, which is why SR20 features a powerful toroidal transformer. We were one of the first manufacturers to use toroidal transformers in the 1970s, and we continue to use them today. Some of the benefits of a toroidal transformer, over the cheaper, inferior EI transformers used by most other manufacturers are:
Electronics (and therefore sound quality) are particularly susceptible to vibration; that’s why we’ve used a low resonance, acoustically-dampened metal chassis to eliminate as much vibration as possible, ensuring that the most sound quality is extracted from every source.
The Cambridge Audio SR 20 stereo receiver is truly a special sounding piece of kit.A great way to enjoy all your sounds with high fidelity sound for an exceptionally reasonable price. You will struggle to find a better value for money solution to achieving quality sound and connectivity at this price. It does tick the boxes.
