The Active Resolution HDMI cable version 2 has a new chip set designed to bring improvements to both picture and sound quality. We have also changed the gauge of the conductors. The version 2 HDMI Active Resolution now features heavier gauge conductors for all critical signal paths. It is now available in lengths of 0.75m, 1.5m, 2m, 3m, 5m, 8m, 10m, 15m and 20m.
The Active Resolution HDMI version 2 uses 26 AWG silver-plated conductors for all the important signal paths. Insulation is gas foamed polyethylene and the redesigned plug has a metal outer shell to provide the best protection and 24 karat gold-plated signal contacts.
The Active Resolution HDMI cable is easy to install and fitting it will ensure that you feed a screen or projector with the best possible signal.
The Chord Active Resolution HDMI cable version 2 uses silver-plated oxygen free copper signal conductors. All lengths now feature heavier gauge silver-plated conductors. Silver-plated conductors are a very good way to carry a high speed signal. Insulation is low loss gas foamed polyethylene and all critical signal conductors are shielded with high frequency effective shielding.
The Active Resolution is fitted with a die-cast gold-plated HDMI plug with a metal body to improve shielding. This is particularly important because the receive end of the cable has a signal enhancing network chipset that significantly improves sound and picture quality. This means that it is important to note the direction arrows on the cable when installing.
Use it with
The original Active Resolution was designed to work in any situation that requires a long HDMI cable and will carry a high speed signal in lengths of up to 20 metres. The new shorter versions have been built with the critical source to processor connection in mind, and is a cable that anyone serious about home cinema should look at and listen to.
