B& W 705 S3, 706 S3 and 707 S3 Speakers function at their best when placed in their ideal listening position and at the correct height. The elegant FS700 S3 stands handle both tasks perfectly.

The upgraded design includes a subtle curvature to each column to match the front baffle of each speaker, a bright metal detail running up that column to further accent their premium design and fillable columns that can be mass-loaded for outstanding stability and quietness.

B&W have thought about everything.  Cable management is also included as is the option of securely bolting each model of speaker to the top-plate of the stand, ensuring optimum safety.

These elegant floor stands raise the 7 series speakers to the correct listening height, providing a stable, rigid support so that you get the very best from your speakers.

Fitted with a heavy base this ensures stability and the columns can be filled with Atacama Atabites to add mass and damping.

Compatibility
The B&W FS700 S3 speaker stand has been designed by Bowers & Wilkins to perfectly match their 700 Series bookshelf loudspeakers - including the 707 S3, 706 S3, & 705 S3 (sold separately). The FS700 S3 places the Bowers & Wilkins 700 Series speakers at the perfect height for optimum audio performance. The 700 Series bookshelf loudspeakers are secured to the stand using the included hardware and the threaded inserts under the loudspeaker.

This speaker stand can also be used with other brands of bookshelf loudspeakers of similar size and weight (however, there is no hardware to secure other brands of speakers to the stand).

High-Quality Construction
The Bowers & Wilkins FS700 S3 speaker stand uses aluminium, steel, and MDF construction. It's top-plate is made of solid steel, while the bottom base is made of heavy-duty MDF.

The upright post is made of aluminium and is hollow so you can add filler to it to make the stand even heavier. It comes in a black or silver finish.

Wire & Cable Management
Rubber or spike feet of the speaker stand raise it off the floor enough so you can route your speaker wire under the base and up through the hollow upright post to your mounted bookshelf loudspeaker.

Rubber & Spike Feet
The FS700 S3 speaker stand also includes rubber and spike feet. Use the rubber feet for hardwood, tile, vinyl as well as laminate flooring. The spike feet work best for carpeted flooring and both rubber or spike feet screw into the bottom of the stand.

The feet are adjustable, so you can level the speaker stand on uneven floors.

Please Note we don't recommend filling the columns with building or beach sand because of its corrosive properties.

Why the need for Speaker Stands? Can't they just sit on the floor?
You can place your speakers wherever you like but the location and positioning absolutely and significantly effect performance. When bookshelf sized speakers are placed on the floor or against a wall their sonic output becomes 'connected' to the floor or walls. The result - sound that is distorted and lacking in clarity.

Speaker stands elevate and isolate speakers from floors and walls. Sound is clearer, cleaner and has significantly better imaging and a greater sense of realism.

Timber Floors? 
B&W have thought of that too!

UK brand Atacama manufacture 'spike shoes' that sit under each spike and so eliminate damage to timber flooring. They can also be used on tile or stone floors. An optional extra accessory you can purchase, or you can use the rubber buttons included.

How To Make Stands Even Better
The columns are hollow and can be 'filled' to further dampen vibrations, helping to minimise unwanted resonances and additionally, provide added stability.
