Auto EQ
Utilising Elac's new SubEQ app and your smartphone’s microphone, the subwoofer will optimise room EQ automatically, utilising eight parametric curves. Full manual EQ is available as well.
Custom Driver
The custom 10-inch long-throw driver provides the quality and quantity of bass that's fundamental to accurately reproduce today’s demanding movie soundtracks and music. A 10-inch passive radiator improves transient response and increases the efficiency of the system.
BASH® Amplifier
ELAC subwoofers feature BASH tracking amplifiers, which differ from traditional amplifiers by accurately following the input signal and adjusting the supply voltage for a standard Class AB amplifier. This advanced design results in maximum efficiency and the necessary power for dynamic movie and music playback.
Braced MDF Cabinet
The inclusion of a horizontal centre brace enhances the structural integrity of the cabinet, effectively reducing any potential vibrations that may impact the quality of audio playback. This results in accurate reproduction of low frequencies, free from any unwanted distortion.
This sub detects when an audio signal is being sent to the amplifier and will automatically power on. To conserve energy, the subwoofer will power off after a long period of inactivity.
