ProJect Debut Recordmaster Turntable: (No Add ons)

"All the quality of a contemporary turntable wrapped in something classic."

Try and find a timber turntable under a thousand bucks that isn’t a million years old and beat to buggery. Ain’t easy, is it! Well, that was until the good folk at Pro-ject thought it a clever idea to build one. Introducing the Pro-ject Debut Recordmaster, all the quality of a contemporary turntable wrapped in something classic.

This little baby comes with increased platter size and weight for smoother rotation, significantly improving the overall sound quality. Even rotations on the centre bearing reduce stresses on it and therefore vibrations. Reduced vibration means cleaner sound quality. It has an improved drive belt design with a decoupled low-noise AC motor, which is DC driven. And what does all that mean, you ask? It means they’ve isolated the motor from the plinth (the turntable’s base) and suspended it using a TPE damped band system, further reducing the nastiness of vibrations produced by the motor, giving cleaner sound with accurate speed stability. In addition to this, they’ve given you the convenience of automatic speed changes between 33rpm and 45rpm – plus 78! Yup, this baby can play 78s if you wanna. Classy.

In addition to all this, the fine folk at Pro-ject thought it a good idea to include a pre-mounted Ortofon OM 10E styli and built-in phono preamplifier, meaning you can plug it into almost any active speaker and play away. Plus! The phono preamp has a USB output for digitally recording those rare bootlegs and classic LPs.

Exclusive to Vinyl Revival and available for a limited time only, the Pro-ject Debut Recordmaster is incredible value for money. Finally a turntable that sounds as beautiful as it looks for well under a thousand clams.
