Founded in 1962,  Audio Technica is famous for their large range of high-quality phono cartridges. Whilst being a specialist phono cartridge designer and manufacturer, Audio Technica has also been exporting phono cartridges to audio equipment manufacturers worldwide since 1969. In their current cartridge range they use their proud history as a manufacturer primarily of high-end phono cartridges, while also incorporating today’s advanced technology. 

Their VM cartridge range is a perfect example of their craft with its dual magnet design which offers excellent channel separation, extended frequency response and low distortion for outstanding tonal quality.The six VM95 Series models all feature Audio Technica's patented Dual Moving Magnet design, which duplicates the “V”-shaped arrangement of the magnets in the cutter head and precisely positions the magnets to match the positions of the left and right channels in the groove walls.
