Thorens - Fully Automatic Turntables That Bring The Sound of Vinyl Home

Fully automatic turntables from major hi-fi brands over the past few decades have, with a few exceptions, put convenience way in front of accurate music reproduction. They favoured showing off their ease of use to not only the detriment of sonic enjoyment but also due to poor quality mechanisms and tonearms tended to track the record at excessive tracking weight which could and typically did damage the record grooves. Not a good result for those wishing to enjoy the pleasures of listening to vinyl.

Fortunately, there is an unexpected answer to the loss of  music quality in the form of a brand of turntables that has a classic heritage and history.Thorens, founded in 1883,has been producing high quality turntables in Germany and whilst making classic decks for many years, has chosen to marry high quality sound with convenience with its range of fully automatic turntables.

From the entry level TD158 turntable at $495 at Vinyl Revival (RRP.$599) to the aesthetically superb real walnut plinth TD 240-2 turntable in matte black from $1099 (RRP. $1499),the fully automatic turntable and its ease of use is back......and the tunes played on these decks sound good and track properly.
